Formal fitting dresses do not necessarily mean that it will look good
on them. The body shape of the bridesmaid must be taken into
consideration. If your bridesmaid has a narrow waist, an empire waist cheap bridesmaid dress
will look good on her. If a lady is not so charming, it is best to stay
away from strapless dresses. Shawls may also come in handy if a
bridesmaid prefers to cover her arms. If you are dressing a plus-size
lady, always remember to flaunt her assets.
If the bridesmaid has narrow hips, a dress with a flowing bottom will
add body to the thighs and hips. Great designs offering these include
balloon and bubble dresses, empire dresses and ball gown designs. The
maid will have to try on a Maid of honor dress
that flares from the waist and one that flares from the bust. The waist
flare is great for someone with a flat tummy. The downside is that it
may make her look shorter.
Speaking of color, the bridesmaid dresses should go well with the
wedding theme and the wedding dress. It would be weird to choose a purple bridesmaid dress if the wedding theme and dress is red. Likewise, lavender would completely be out of place with a green wedding dress.
